The Mexico mission trip was arranged as a “suddenly”. A cascade of prophetic words communicated an urgent need for a team to go to Tijuana, Mexico and partner with a large number of pastors for a mission.

FOLLOW UP TO VERA CRUZ

Earlier, a group of three GRM leaders visited Vera Cruz and met with pastors and leaders in that great city. Pastors in the city received a renewed vision for church planting.

THE TIJUANA EXPERIENCE

In the days before the mission, there was a 7 day fast in preparation for the trip. There was much prayer that focused on long established strongholds which laid the foundation for many of the challenges that are faced in Tijuana today to the proclamation of the Gospel. The mission trip with a breakthrough experience for some members of our team, some of whom have embarked on a journey of ministry development which has continued ever since.

On this trip, enduring relationships, especially with the Latino community, were forged and these have grown in strength in the ensuing months.

SAN DIEGO AND LOS ANGELES

San Diego is connected to Tijuana via a bridge and one of the Tijuana pastors that became one of our partners, also had a ministry in San Diego so the Tijuana mission resulted in a powerful San Diego connection. The mission also included a visit to Los Angeles and Azusa Street, and networking with pastors and ministries with whom GRM is now in close relationship.
